I have been living separate from my husband of 20 years for almost 6 months. We will be getting divorced. I am a 50/50 owner in a business with him. I am currently looking at buying a different business on my own.
My question is: Will he have any claim to my business?
I plan on financing this purchase all by myself, and running it as well.
Will this eventually lower my support payments from him, or will it be based on our 50/50 business partnership?
