The lawyers say that once divorce is filed, spouse is not entitled to any gained assets from the date of filing, according to law, couple is still married. Example; marital construction project underway during the course of divorce. The project has gained value during the course of the divorce. At what point will assets of project be divided equally.

My guess is that once there's a legal separation, the accumulation stops. However, since you have an attorney, you should ask the attorney this question.
