| ex husband wont respond to solicitors letters
I am in Ireland and I found out that my husband had been seeing another woman since last christmas. I have left him and he is still living in the house we built together. We have no children and have been married for 5 years. I have seen a solicitor and he has sent several letters to my husbands solicitors telling him I wish to proceed with a legal seperation, however my husbands solicitors is very slow a responding. My husband does not want a divorce and says he wants me back this is not an option. My solicitor now said that we now must proceed to court and pay for a barrister, which will cost 1,000 to start he also stated that it could cost between 40,000 and 120,000 before this is all finished. Can anyone help in with this as I do not understand why I will have to pay such a large sum of money. I am very distressed as my husband got this other woman pregnant and she has since terminated the pregnancey. I have found this whole business extreemly hurtful and am trying to cope on my own but it is very difficult, I would never be able to take him back although I may still love him I also know that you can love someone who is not good for you can anyone please help me... |
