My fiancee has been divorced for three years. He was ordered by the judge to carry health insurance on his son, which he does, but his ex-wife refuses to take him to a doctor that is covered. When she fills out the paperwork at the doctors office she puts all of his personal information down as the Bill To address. She doesn't put herself. His son is currently going to a doctor regularly that is not covered. This bill is already over $1,000. What, if anything, can we do to make her use the insurance and if she doesn't what do we need to do to see that she is held responsible for the bills? We have already offered to set up all of his doctors appointments and provide him transportation, but she still refuses. Help us....

HE- as in not you, needs to go back to court and have the order modified to state that if she opts to take the child to a provider out of the network then she is solely responsible for that bill.
