My ex wife finally signed the final divorce papers (I got the faxed copy from my atty.)!! The problem? My attorney has faxed, phoned and emailed my ex's atty. to get the originals so that my atty. can file the final docs but he has not responded. It has been
SIX weeks since she signed the papers...
What now? Can we not file the faxed docs? My atty. isn't sure about this and doesn't seem to be in a real hurry, anyway.
What can I do? (my ex isn't going to do anything to make this divorce easy so there's no use in trying to get her to phone her atty)
