A few more problems?

***Again ~ not deani-t ~ her daughter***

What is the name of your state? NC (as well as CA and maybe LA)

Okay, as my last thread said, my husband and I are seperated. Have been since February 2004. My grandmother passed away in October 2003 leaving me 1/3 of a house located in CA. Because of some ugly things that have taken place, my grandmother's trust has been placed in 'porbate' (I think - not too sure though. It's a long story, if you wanna know, look for my mother's posts under Wills & Trusts.)

Even though he and I were still together during the time I found out about my inheritance, he's not intitled to it, is he?

And, my mother, aunt and I (equaling the 3 thirds of the house) are planning on selling it asap. Is he intitled half of my profit from the sale?

any answers would be nice. Thank you. Sorry if I sound somewhat immature, I'm 22 and have never had to go through this kind of thing before. Thanks!

As long as you don't co-mingle the asset in any way (like putting the money in a joint bank account) and inheritance remains separate property.

Thanks! When he left I had him taken off of all my accounts. And for added security (for myself) I closed and re-opened all of by bank accounts and credit card accounts.

Thanks again!
