Filing an answer without a lawyer

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

What are the procedures to filing an answer after i have been served
Do I have to go to the court house? Do I give him a copy.
Can I do it the morning of the pretrial

The paperwork you received in service should answer your questions. If you can't understand what it says, you need an attorney.
