My wife and I filed papers 10 months ago for a divorce. We are unable to agree to property terms, no children, so nothing has been finalized yet. She will be leaving the state soon for an extended period of time and I am wondering if I can be divorced from her prior to the property being divided. I would like to be legally divorced before she leaves and am willing to then go through the courts or whatever is needed to split our items up after that.

Is this possible? And if so, what do I do and how long will it take?

Thank you.
