I need to file for divorce. my husband is a drug addict who does not want to get clean. He has stripped me of all my savings and I have three minor children that I am at risk of losing. I can not afford the 200 dollars it will cost to file. I have too much on the line and I NEED to free myself and my children from this. Can anyone PLEASE help me? We do not have any children from our marriage, my children are from a previous relationship. We also have no property or anything of value. Contact your local clerk of the court and see if there is a fee waiver program for low income filers. Otherwise, you need to borrow the money from someone, somewhere.
