I'm married thinking of divorce due to my husband's financial troubles. We live in CA. Am I liabable for his student loans which he aquired before we got married? Is there any way to stay married and not be liable for his financial matters? Am I liable for his business debt? Any ideas of what I can do to protect myself from a lifetime of debt?
