What is the name of your state?
VA.

my divorce has been going on for five years. in the last
court date (may of 2002) my wife fired her lawyer and the
judge gave her 60 days to find a new one. well, that was over
four months ago and this week we finally got the judge to give
us another court date and it was to be this week. then the night before the court date, my lawyers office calls and says they got
a contiunance. i don't understand how they can get this date
put off when the judge gave her well over the 60 days to get
a lawyer. when i had to get a new lawyer, they gave me 7
(seven) days. my divorce case has went all the way to the appellate court and was ruled in my favor. i feel this judge is holding that against me and is doing nothing that he was told
to do by the appellate court. what can i or my attorney do to get this judge to do his job?
