What timeline might I expect from the date that I file a petition to the date/day that the divorce is considered final? I'm not sure if this matters but we've discussed who gets what regarding what's in the house and custody but we haven't finalized what we're gonna do with the house. Our initial fight began exactly 1 month ago. I gave it (what I think anyway) was a decent amount of time to think it through and I've decided to go ahead and file. Again, what I'm wondering is how long from the date that I file should I expect it to then be finalized.

Depends on how much arguing there is over various issues and if you have attorneys and various other things. Anywhere from 90 days to over a year.
