Georgia Legal Seperation and Divorce Questions

What is the name of your state? Georgia

In short hubby moved out last April to a new state. Will not sign the settlement agreement. Now he has a warrent for a seperate issue and will be arrest if he returns to this state.

I want to file in the courts myself becuase I am broke. I have the forms from a website of the net. But I do not know what to do with the forms or if I even have the correct forms. (it's from the legal aid site which has informaed me I do not qualify for their service)

I am in Gwinnett county and know I need to take them there and it's like 80$ plus a 20$ service sherriff fee.

That said, am I legally seperated? Or does that take forms as well?

First thing you need to do is get rid of those 'online' forms... as they are very likely NOT accurate.

Go out to a local bookstore (or even a library) and get a book like the following:

How to File for Divorce in Georgia
by Charles Robertson, Edward A. Haman, Edward A. Haman
Paperback - Sixth Edition
ISBN: 1572484926
Pub. Date: July 2005

It should include all the CORRECT forms... and answer most if not all of your questions.

Also, your state is on of those that do NOT recognize legal documentation of separation.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

Thank you for the fast reply and the book info.

So would I be considered legaly seperated since this is a state that does not recognize legal documentation of separation? Or are you saying that there is no such thing as a legal seperation here?

Sorry to be so blonde...
