I went through a divorce 2 years ago and won a judgement from my ex that he had to repay several thousand dollars back to me,I got a court order against him to pay me back and he did for about 8 months and then stopped and said he was not paying me anymore.
I got a lawyer and took him to court again to order him to pay me and won that case and he was ordered to pay but refuses to.What can be done now to get my money.He claims that he is self employed and not working which is a lie,he is working.I don't have an employer to garnish from.What else can I do?

Michigan has a state tax. Get a lien up against his state tax return. Those must be in place before October.

He is self employed...there isn't going to be any refund.
