What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

My wife has filed for divorce and I wanted to know if I am still obligated to keep her on my insurance policy ( I am self employeed ), that I carry for my family and my employees.

Until the divorce is final, absolutely. Otherwise you could put yourself in a world of hurt, financially, if something bad happens to her healthwise.
