I am a resident of Va. I am currently separated from my husband. We have only been separated for about 2 weeks. He says he will not pay me support for our 2 children because he is in debt by 20k from the marriage. We did not get any bills jointly, am I liable to pay half the debt? and is he liable to pay me child support?

Yes, he is liable to pay child support, regardless of how in debt he is. The children are his responsibility financially, too bad about the bills. The courts will just tell him to get another job. As far as the bills, usually if they are in his name only, then he alone is responsible for them.
