before I met my girlfriend...she was told she would be visiting Iraq and once there, her uncles took her passport and forced her to sign a legal marriage......her husband came to Canada (where she is living now)...and her parents are still forcing her to be with him and she refuses...
in addition, he is touching her in sexual ways and she refuses, in which case he becomes upset....
this is an ongoing problem and she wants to be free from him...
how can she legally divorce him and end this madness...
of course, he does not want to leave her because he sees her as a posession......and will not sign any agreement toa divorce...
can she call immigration about how she was forced to marry him.....??..
please help me someone....this is a very difficult and unfair situation and she is suffering completely because of this...
