State of Alabama: My sister live in alabama and she is wanting a divorce from her husband who is presently in prison for raping her 14 year old daughter, but she have no idea how to go about getting a divorce because she is not finiancally able to afford it. She was told that she was intitle to a free divorce because he is locked up. How and where would she go in order to obtain a divorce.

I'm sure your state has a Legal Aid office that would provide free legal services, if she qualifies financially.

Have her call the state's bar association to find out the number for Legal Aid.
