I was in court yesterday and was asking for spousal support back on Oct 2005, it was never granted/denied just fell through the cracks in the court system. Now the judge wants me, in pro per, and x's atty to prepare a brief on the law of granting/not granting back spousal support. Where do I go to even begin to find this info and is there any advice anyone can give on this issue?

You need to get case law and statutes that allow for back spousal support and present them in a brief. If you do not know what you are doing you may need to hire an attorney to write it for you and apply said case law to your case.
