What do the papers say about responding?

He should hire an attorney in CA to represent him so he does this right.

If your finance

agrees to this....there isnothing really much to do,just file for the agreement. I won my divorce by default meaning that ex never replied to my demands within 20 days and I got everything I wanted.
So, if there is something that your finance wants out of divorce, get an attorney or he can represent himself as long as there is no child support or children to fight over either. If there is kids, yeah it is in his best itnerests to have an attorney to reply RIGHT NOW!!!!! If 20 days passes, it will cost more to appeal.
