What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? OHIO

Thank you for the replys on my question on if I can get a continuance until I find another attorney. How do I go about asking the Judge for that though? Do I call, send a ceritified letter, or what?
Thanks again!!

You file a motion requesting a continuance and make sure you have an order prepared for the judge to sign. You file the motion and then walk a copy of the motion and prepared order up to the judge.
