What is the name of your state?ARKANSASundefinedI AM DIVORCED BUT MY EX WONT SEND THE PAPER WORK BACK TO ME OR THE LAWYER. I CANT GET IN CONTACT SEEING AS SHE HAS MOVED. SHE IS LIVING IN ONE STATE AND I AM IN THE MILITARY IN ANOTHER SO IT IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO DO ANYTHING AND MY OPTIONS ARE LIMITED. BECAUSE OF THIS SETBACK IT IS BEING DRAWN OUT LONGER THAN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. HOW CAN I GET THE PAPERWORK BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE?

You are NOT divorced unless a court has rendered a Final Judgment of Divorce (Final Decree). If the Court has done so, you can obtain a copy from the Clerk of Court. If there has been no Final Judgment of Divorce and you are referring to a Settlement Agreement, your wife has no obligation to sign it or return it to you or your attorney. If she does not do so, your recourse is to file a motion to set the matter for trial.
