How to legalize my divorce in a foreign country?

What is the name of your state? Texas

I got divorced in US but I got originally married in another country. I am trying to legalize my divorce there as well. Besides the Divorce Decree, they also need some kind of document that the divorce is in effect. I was told the name of this document is "res judicata" but don't have any more information. How do I obtain this document?
