Question

I Beg For Some Direction!

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Tennessee..... In May of 2003 my mother became very sick and had to have open heart surgery in June of 2003 and it failed and they had to do it again the next evening. Three and a half weeks later her husband had her arrested for Domestic Violence while she was still on oxygen. I have doctors notes to show she was incoherant when she was arrested. Then I took her in my care toward the end of July 2003 till she got her health back. Aug. 8th her husband called and said he was filing for Divorce. Then we seen he had a woman coming in my mothers home so we hired a P.I. and proved that he in fact was and she was staying days at a time. Then we filed a counter Divorce on grounds of adultry and found out my mother had small sell lung cancer and it was in its late stages. She could not hold on for her divorce and she passed away Jan. 12, 2004 Now, the family opened the estate and her husband is saying nothing in her will exists and it was wrote out of vengence and refuses to pay for any funeral costs. I have a lot of stuff against him and the way he wrongly done my mother. Please help!

For estate purposes, an uncompleted divorce does not exist. Without a final decree, they are still considered legally married.

As for any of her assets, do you have good reason to believe they still do exist after paying her medical expenses - and are assets subject to probate?

I want to go after him for over medicating her on collipin and letting her go without her oxygen till she didn't know what she was doing then had her arrested. I have doctors notes to prove this.
I know the items listed in her will does exist and I have pictures of some items.
What do I want? Justice for my mother! She was wrongfully thrown from her home when she was dying, drug through the court system while her husband was having an affair, I have a P.I. report to prove that. Her family paid out 14,000 in expences while her husband collected 55,000 in life insurances and paid nothing.
Thank you for your reply.
