Letters and statements most likely won't be helpful in court proceedings---those people will need to be willing to show up, in person, and answer questions from both sides. Did you HIRE/RETAIN said attorney? You should NOT represent yourself in court...

A good person doesn't have to tell me what a good person they are. A good person's actions, word, behavior and attitude tells that they are "good".

(and you sure didn't have a problem telling all of us about her shortcomings...)
That maybe possible to do so and thats just what I was told from the attorney. I haven't retained her yet, shes waiting for me to collect all the statements; but she has told me she would take my case. So I dunno, first rodeo you know. I realize that after the TRO.

Those were my responses in order to give you an overview and of course there biased towards me without the other person. But yes, your entitled to your opinion. Like I said, I have no problem with knowing that I'm a good person; thats between me and god. Not saying that I don't have faults or couldn't use counseling. I probably could after all of this, so I don't end up in the same situation.

Not yet, in court she said she is in the process of filing the paperwork. So I'm hanging back and collecting my statements and trying to save every dime to hire the attorney. I only have my name with hers on there birth certificates.
If your name is on the birth certificate, then you signed the Acknowledgement of Paternity. This is not a paternity matter, it is a custody and visitation matter.

Sorry I didn't understand, I don't know all the terminologies. Yes I guess it is.

***UPDATE***

Finding out more stuff. She had an abortion and a test for stds in December and also was given treatment for the std. (Chlamydia or Gonorrhea) I'm finding this in past medical record bills and I was not told of the std. Now I maybe positive for the std, I wont know till in 10 days. Can I use this in court? Also thinking about getting a negligence lawyer.

Abortion is legal.

You have NO right to her medical records. Walk away from this nonsense, now.

It is perfectly clear why your Ex was given a TRO!

I hope you get some psychological help. You are just gonna make a bigger mess of this, unless you STOP right now and retain an attorney!

How did you get her medical records?

You DO realize how that works, right?

It should be crystal clear to you by now that if you have evidence that will prove to the court that this woman is unfit for custody of your children, it won't matter. You are the bad guy in the eyes of the court and that's what you're up against.

Bali--are you serious?

If you have to ask this after 2+ years and 2000+ posts? You should seek counseling.

(I do love you, Bali!)
I know that Bali, bless his heart, is very bitter w/ courts and ex-wives; but this time, I thought, perhaps, that Bali was being sarcastic.

Now: Walk away from this relationship while you still have your freedom. If you continue down this path, you will end up in jail. There is no other end result possible.

In the future: If you find yourself suspicious or untrusting of a partner, it's time to end that relationship and move on. "Finding out the truth" can only lead you right back where you are now.

I recommend you exercise whatever visits the court orders with your children with as little interaction as possible with your ex.

Really a sad realization of the times where a woman can get off scott free from possibly giving you an std from another dude and staying out messing around with guys then coming home to tend to your own kids. You all are probably right about the medical records, but if it happened to you; you would be singing a different tune. You say psychological help, but I'm almost positive if you were not told about your partner having an std and you getting it; you would want to know. In the process of getting funds to retain her, I was dumped with a bunch of unpaid bills on our household. 3 months worth of late electric bills she didn't pay and now paying our full rent, plus she pretty much drained any money I had. I used all the money and savings I had to pay for bills, save for rent, and I just bailed her out of her car loans with my savings a couple months ago.I took the back burner in our careers so I could rear the children while she could pursue her career. I work a part time job and watch them till she gets home at night and I work graveyard. This time I will let them repo the car, yet another bill that's coming my way. Anyways I found this while I'm sorting out all our crap in our house, bills and such. All this stuff is pretty much shoved in boxes with my stuff and hers. How do I know its not from me, simple I didn't mess around; because I truly thought I didn't have to mess around.
