Infedelity in a different state?

What is the name of your state? NC
NC has strict laws on adultery, where alimony must be rewarded. But wht if the Infidelity took place in Tennesse where laws are not as strict? You see that is what happend. The adultery took place there, then I came back to NC immediately. Would that have a bearing on Alimony?
