What is the name of your state?Idaho.My niece who is married and getting a divorce got a house from her father as a early inheritance.The money for this house came out of her inheritance.She was told her husband can't get half.he is asking for half in the divorce.Is he intitled to half the house

Is the house in her name only? Was it clearly a gift from her father to her?
Or did her father gift it in both of their names?

She really needs a local attorney in her corner on this one. There is too much at stake not to have one.

Idaho.She has a lawyer.Her father wrote a noterized letter stating it was a gift to her.The title company said she had to put her husband's name on it.

ARG...well, its going to be up to her attorney to present compelling arguments to the judge as to why it should be considered as her separate property.
