injury settlements and divorce

What is the name of your state? Washington State

during a marriage, one is hurt which entitles that person to a settlement, the other supports the family during that time. If they start a divorce is the other spouse entitled to half? Where can I find information on this, as I have searched the RCW's and have not found what I am looking for.

You should be entitled to something, I ponder the half part though. Anyway, you should find something in Am. Jur. or if you can afford it, you can use Lexis or U.S West to find cited cases. Make sure you understand how to site those cases and please make sure you Shepardize your case, it would not be pretty if you did not.
