Joint Bills and divorce

I have a question in regards to common bills. I have moved out and my wife wants to take my noame off of all the "house" bills (electric, gas, water...). My question is if I am still paying for the bills out of my pay check but she is writing the check, are there any legal or indirect implications of my name not being on the bills? Let me know if that was just utterly confusing.

Well...if your name is not on the bill then as far as the utility company is concerned, you aren't responsible for the bill. Otherwise, I can't imagine any "implications".
