What is the name of your state? California. i recently married my boyfriend of 8 years. My 3 children & I moved into his home. His home is in his name, and is all paid for. What can I do to protect myself from being forced to move should the unthinkable happen and we get divorced. Isn't this house solely his right now? Help, Thank you:confused:

right now and when you get divorced. Although California is a community property state, this is separate property that he brought into the marriage.

Stop worrying about divorce and think about building a strong marriage.
