Question

Just served Florida divorce papers--HELP

What is the name of your state? Florida.

My husband lives in Florida---that is the state we last lived together in. I now live in Indiana. I was served the summons yesterday that my husband has filed for Dissolution of Marriage. It says I have 20 days to respond. Can I respond on my own w/out hiring an atty? I do not want to contest this but there is wrong information on the asset disclosure he filed re my assets. Are there forms that need to be completed to respond? Please help!

Yes, you can respond yourself. I believe that the FL state government website contains downloadable forms...you might want to see if what you need is available there.
