What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Massachusetts

I was wondering what ramifications does a lawyer's withdrawal have upon the case? It isn't my lawyer, but my spouses lawyer who just withdrew. We are just months from trial and I have a feeling it is because he was raked over the coals (just like I always am) whenever something didn't go my spouse's way.

He will be withdrawing later in the week. Will this impact the way the judge views my spouse?

Does it have any ramifications, or is it viewed the same as 'disappearing'?

Thanks in advance for all your help.
