In Georgia, if one partner moves out of the house, is that called abandonment or desertion? And does that affect or determine who gets the house in the divorce agreement? I know my spouse will not leave so I will probably have to. Any ramifications if I make this move? I am not speaking of a legal separation, but just leaving in a time of anger or frustration or when announcing divorce plans to spouse. Should anything be in writing if I leave?
