i filed for a divorce in 2000 in the parish where i live. went to court judge found problem with paper work.
while waiting for my lawyer to correct paper work my husband went and filed for a divorce in2001 in another parish. my lawyer responded to his pitition and let his attorney know that we were already in the legal process of a divorce which my husband had already signed papers agreeing to a divorce and child support. he was granted a divorce in that parish and child support wasn't included he also labled it as a default divorce. is this legal or not.
