Thirty three years of marriage! Wow! It's almost unheard of today. I hope it hasn't been a bad marriage.
Legally, you need to get a consultation with a divorce attorney and find out what your options are.
Another angle, is to seek some insight into the life changes that are going on in your life and in his. All may not be lost, only you know that, not me. I do know, from seeing this happen in families around me, that once the empty nest develops, and the hubby retires, and health declines, it all seems to cause a sense of a loss of control and a loss of purpose, and a desire to leave to seek out what is missing.
I can guarantee you that we women on this site love to talk to each other, and you can find buddies and support here, so I'm sending out an invitation to the other ladies to chat with you, via email if you're accepting emails. Stay in touch!
