Legal Separation and personal debts What is the name of your state? Colorado
My personal debts have gotten to the point that my wife wants out. Our joint accounts are up to date and in good standing. Will a legal separation protect her from creditor's actions on my accounts? These accounts were obtained with my credit (she was never listed in consideration to obtain accounts) and the only way to save this relationship is to legally protect her from the creditors. Besides the obvious of repaying my accounts (which I'm in the process of doing), how can I protect her credit, no matter what happens to Us? |
