My wife has moved to RI 2 months ago, as well as myself after selling our home in NH. We both live apart for 2 months now and just found out since my legal residence is no longer NH but, RI I will have to wait 1 year to file for Divorce. Is this the case for legal seperation as well? What to people do in this case to get the process going instead of waiting the 1 YR? Thanks...
