California, i am deeply in search of answers. i am seperating and eventually divorcing my husband, but we bought a car and it is in both of our names and I cannot afford it and no longer want it. the finance co will not let me surrender it and he wants it even though he already has a car he has not paid for for 2 months. i feel as if i have no choice but to end up being liable for this car. what can i do?
