I have been married for 11 months and I am filing for divorce. My husband states if I divorce him he will take everything I own. Question? I have owned my home for 5years and he has only lived in it for 1 year prior to that he lived in another state. When he moved he wasn't employed and wasn't contributing to the mortgage and has not paid a mortgage payment since, but he does contribute to the bills. He wants half equity and furnishings. He came here with only a car and clothes is he entiltled to anything. We had a long distance relationship for 2years and then he moved here. I found out he has been having outside relations and I won't out. If I have proof is he entitled to anything I had before him. We have not acquired anything together. please help.
