MarriageI was married in NC, but now live in Michigan, just found out that my husband and his ex-wife falsified their separation agreement, they weren't separated a year before their divorce, they were separated only 2 months. What effect does this have on my marriage??? |

| My response: None, unless you are thinking of divorce, also. If not, then your knowledge and acceptance of the "false" information is tantamount to an acceptance, and you cannot use that information later should you want a divorce. And besides, how would you prove that's what happened ? Do you think he's going to admit that he perpetrated a fraud upon the court ? Not likely. So, for all intents and purposes, they are divorced.
