I am from Michigan. I have a marriage license where in the spot for the brides, mothers maiden name, the mother's married name is there instead of maiden. Is this marriage license void or invalid because of this mistake?

My response:

No. That error has nothing to do with the marriage itself. Just have it amended if it's bothersome.
