married 2 weeks how can I get this annulled both of us agree on this


What is the name of your state? arizona
i have been married 2 weeks and both he and i want to end it!
also, he was previously married but had been seperated for 8 years and then on july 9th 2003 he had a divorce hearing and to our understanding was granted the dissolution of marriage. he and i got married days later 7/12/2003 then he received a letter in the mail from superior court stating he was granted the dissolution of marriage but that neither party could remarry until after 7/24/2003. either way we both want out of this marriage. please help

My response:

Help with what? You're entitled to an annulment based upon his bigamy - - thus, your marriage is voidable. So, go to the courthouse, get the paperwork from the Clerk, fill them out, and pay your filing fee.

do i need to go to the superior court? and do i need to take a copy of that letter stating he could not remarry?

My response:

Yes, and yes. You'll also need a copy of your marriage certificate. You'll attach both documents, in date order, as Exhibits "A" and "B" to your Petition.

Your Petition will be granted - - eventually.
