Married Before Divorce Was Final?!?!?!

After being divorced 3 years, I just found out that my "marriage" was likely not even valid because my ex's prior divorce was not final. After everything I had to go through with my divorce proceedings, including costs, I am completely angry. I have had to endure so much from this person, and I thought I was done with the BS, but after 11 years of bending-over-and-taking-it, I am FED UP and want recourse.

Is there anything I can legally do? Can he be held liable for ANYTHING?

Let it go. If you prove your marriage wasn't valid, you could open up all other kinds of cans of worms. Besides, that kind of issues doesn't automatically invalidate a marriage, it just makes the marriage voidable. Just be glad to be done with your ex.
