I have been searching up and down the internet trying to find an answer to this question:
If a couple was married in Mississippi, but resides currently in Louisiana, would the divorce be community property? What state's laws would the divorce fall under? Please, if you can, give me some links to resources if you have an answer.

The divorce will be based wherever you meet the residency requirements and that's the state whose laws take precedence. It makes no difference where you were married.

If either of you have lived in LA for 6 months, you can file there.

Louisiana Divorce Laws - Louisiana State Divorce Laws

If you have not been in LA long enough to establish residency, you could look up the residency requirement for the state that you last lived in, but it's unlikely that you could use any other state since you're currently living in LA.
