What is the name of your state? Florida my husband and I have only been married for 5 months. He wants to get a divorce. I am not on the deed, the mortgage or the home loan. am I entitled to any profits or am I responsible for anything attatched to the house. The home value has doubled since he purchased it. He owns a business would I be entitled to any profits from it as well. What are my legal rights?

You need to hire a family law attorney immediately to find out what your rights against your husband and his new lover are.

Proving all this increase in value, and your claim to a part of it, without certified appraisals at the beginning of your "marriage" will be tough. Has he made you an offer to get lost?
