I am a natural US Citizen. Married Vietnamese woman in Vietnam 2005. Her case was denied by US Embassy and returned to USCIS December 2006. Awaiting final reply, but can't imagine it will come out well.

Regardless, this has put a HUGE strain on our relationship. We are not young at 36 and 42yrs old.

I want children and have met someone else here in Florida.

Can I *legally* get married in Florida?

I had to tell my girfreidn about this and she was crushed of course. But I wouldn't hide it from her even though FL state would never be able to find out (I'd think) that I was married in Vietnam.

Must I go through the tangled corrupt web of getting divorced first in Vietnam?

Thanks. Stressed...Orlandodude...

Of COURSE you need to get divorced. To not get divorced would make you a polygamist.
