I am writing on behalf of my sister who reside in Texas.
The mediation agreement that was signed three weeks ago
stated that it will take effect on January 20, 2002 but the court has not approved the agreement yet. The lawyer of my sister filed a motion to set aside the agreement and a hearing with the judge is set for March 5, 2002. My question is this....since a hearing with the judge is set for March 5 does it mean that the scheduled date for mediation agreement to take effect on January 20 is suspended? If it is suspended then both parties should abide with temporary orders until March 5?
