What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MD

My husband has been in the military for 16 years. I am thinking of filing for divorce. I have not worked at all because he did not want me too. I am scared I will not be able to support myself and 3 children. I know I will be able to get child support and possibly alimony, but will I still be entitled to health insurance for 16 almost 17 years of marriage?

Ultimately, the sooner you start supporting yourself, the better. You may get alimony, but it will be up to you to use your alimony (if any) and your child support to take care of your needs.
