What is the name of your state? IA Ex wife is taking kids to doctor all the time!!! Always some undiagnosible illness! All diagnose have symptoms of being stress related.Have contacted doctors about this,but being treated as upset ex husband!!! Could this be Munchausen By Proxy ? Also is gas to and from doctor considered an uncovered medical expense?

No....what you are describing would not be Munchausen by Proxy....that requires proof that the parent is actually doing something (not psychological) to cause the child's problems, such as something dire enough as poison. Plus, if the children's problems are diagnosed as being stress related...then its a valid medical expense.

For tax purposes yes, medical miles are valid medical expenses and are deductible. Whether or not a judge would also find the expense valid depends on the judge.
