I reside in Michigan. I have been married almost 6 months. During this time, my husband has become heavily engaged in drinking and during his drunkenness, he becomes physically and verbally abusive and also threatening. Once I had him arrested for domestic violence. The police later informed me that he has been arrested several times for domestic violence to other women however, none of them proceeded to follow through on prosecuting him. I had no knowledge of this prior to our getting married and I surely would not have done so had I known this. Is an annullment possible in my situation? Or do I have to divorce?
